JOYCE YVONNE THOMPSON (AGE 60) OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS

On Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her residence in Fort Worth, Texas, Joyce Thompson peacefully transitioned to eternal life.

Joyce Yvonne Thompson was born on June 22 ^nd 1959 in Indian Head, Maryland toShirley Proctor and the Late William Roy Proctor. Joyce was raised in Clinton Maryland and graduated from Surrattsville High School. During her life, Joyce and Timothy Thompson had 4 kids Tyrone and Jason Thompson and the Late Tawanda and Terrance Thompson. Joyce was a loving Mom, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt. She loved to be around family and friends and loved to play cards. She loved to listen to her oldies, sing and dance. She was very soft spoken, and caring.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories- Sons, Jason (Christa) Thompson, Tyrone (Sharmayne) Thompson and former Daughter in-law Aquanetta Russell-Williams. Grandkids Dario, Zaviyan, Zakiria, Tyrone Jr. and Zakiya. Sisters Chrissy (Eddie), Jackie (Jimmy), Marie (Kevin), Wanda (Daryl) and Sherri (Steve). Brothers Mark and Jerry (Lina). In-laws Cherry (Earnest), Peaches (Leroy), Nancy (Tony) and Clay (Doreatha) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Joyce is preceded into Heaven by her children Tawanda and Terrance, Father William Roy Proctor,  Brother Derrick, aunts, uncles, in-laws and grandparents.

Her viewing will be held from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00am, Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. Peters Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peters Drive, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.  Interment Church Cemetery.
