Joseph Dorian ?Pluck? Taylor 40 of Washington, DC
Joseph ?Pluck? Taylor was born March 13th 1969 to Mary V. Blount and Joseph ?Bunny? Carter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters Robin Boone-Payne (Darryl), Nikia Blount; two brothers, Reginald ?Reggie? Blount and Jermaine Datcher; five nieces, Ravin, Tyana , Tanchania Kennedy and Kenia; one nephew, Devin; six aunts Evelyn ?Dolly? Jackson, Laura ?LiL? Shanklin, Karen Spinnel, Lydia ?Max? Banks, Regina ?Annette? Tabor, Angela ?Lumpy? Carter, and Ann Makle; two uncles, Jeffrey and Vincent Taylor. Also left to cherish many memories are a host of other family, special cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: maternal Grandparents Reginald and Laura Taylor; paternal Grandparents Joseph and Florence Carter; Uncles Reginald ?Pete? Taylor, James Carter, Aunt Diane Swann.
Educated in Charles County public schools, after High School and college, Joseph received numerous Awards, Certificates and Accolades which led him to pursue a career in the medical field specializing in Pharmaceuticals. His magnetic personality and being blessed with ?the gift of gab? helped him to make many long lasting friendships at every place of employment.
He began his career early in age as a Pharmacy Tech at St. Charles Safeway in Waldorf and continued to gain knowledge from every place of employment including Kaiser Permanente, NIH, Fairfax Hospital and was employed by the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Inspector until his passing.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 9th, 2009, 10:00 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 30 Mattingly Ave., Indian Head, Maryland.
