MILLER, JOHN D. (AGE 61) OF OXON HILL, MARYLAND

John Dee Miller, Jr. of Oxon Hill, Maryland quietly transitioned December 15, 2022 at Southern Maryland Hospital.

John was born on November 21, 1961 in Washington DC to John and Peggy Miller.  John grew up in Washington, DC where he was educated.  He never worked due to a disability. John enjoyed the simpler things in life such as sitting outside in his rocking chair enjoying the outside breeze and smoking his cigarettes.  As John got older he fought a tough battle with cancer and other illnesses.  He ultimately passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on December 15, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D Miller, mother, Peggy Miller and three brothers, Daniel Miller, Robert Miller, and Denis Miller.  John had no children. He leaves behind his cousin / guardian, James M. Harris.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, December 29th at 1:00 pm in The Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
