Thompson, Jerry Louis "Bunkey" (Age 63) of Waldorf, Maryland.
Quietly on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., Jerry Louis Thompson "Bunkey" transitioned to eternal life.
Bunkey, as he was more affectionately called, enjoyed watching western movies, playing the lottery numbers game and working on his race car.
He loved to see beautifully manicured yards and took pride in the lawns he cared for, especially the lawn of Alberta M. Brahom who cared for Jerry the way he cared for lawns.
Bunkey was preceded in death by his father, George S. Thompson, sisters, Barbara Thompson and Tammy Thompson and brothers, Joseph Thompson and Russell Thompson.
Bunkey leaves his wife, Betty Thompson, two daughters, Lisa Thompson and Stephanie Thompson, grandchildren, Trevon, Tamia, Brianna and Shayla, mother, Josephine Thompson, sisters, Eleanor Proctor and Joyce Smith, brothers-in-law, William Smith, Tommy Proctor, Gene Proctor, Woody Proctor and Charles Proctor, nieces, Patricia Smith and Angela Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish many memories.
Viewing, 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial, 12 noon, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland. Interment, Church Cemetery.
