Rogers, Jeanette Marie Hackerson (Age 66) of Cottage City, Maryland.

Jeanette Marie Rogers was born July 5, 1946 in Charles County, Maryland to Georgianna Moore and William Proctor, Jr., who preceded her in death.

Jeanette Rogers attended Pomonkey High School in Charles County, Maryland. In preparation for employment in Childrens' Day Care Services, she completed 2 years of General Psychology at Prince Georges Community College in Largo, Maryland.

Jeanette truly enjoyed working with children. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loving granddaughter, Janee Marie Rogers. Reading her bible was her favorite past-time.

Jeanette was a faithful member of Church of the Great Commission for more than 25 years. She had a strong prayer life and prayed continually for her family, friends, sisters and brothers in Christ. Jeanette loved her church and was present in church every opportunity she could.

As a true disciple of Christ, Jeanette fulfilled The Command of the Great Commission. She witnessed wherever she went using religious tracts and telling the lost that Jesus loves them. She made daily calls to friends and family to give them a scripture memory verse for the day.

Jeanette carried her charitable nature in the work force as well, with her positions as a Day Care Volunteer, Nutritional Aide, Teaching Assistant and Receptionist-Data Entry Clerk. Jeanette also served as a loving caregiver to the children of the church nursery, as she was very dependable and concerned about the organization. She performed to the best of her ability everywhere she went.

Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Georgianna Moore, her beloved daughter, Lynette Rogers, her son, Charles Ricardo Rogers, her grandchildren, Janee and Darius, and a host of family and friends.
