IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jaynell Darlene
Chisley Newman
October 29, 1969 – June 19, 2017
Jaynell Darlene Newman departed this life suddenly on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the University of Maryland, Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland.
Jaynell, known as "Bee" to most, was born on October 29, 1969, to Isadore Chisley and the late Thomas Chisley.
Bee was baptized at an early age at Mount Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Rodney L. Young. She attended Charles County Public Schools and later received her GED. Over the years, she had numerous employers which included, Genesis Nursing Home, Medallion Daycare, Children's World Daycare, Gale Bailey Elementary School, and was a Bus Attendant until her untimely death.
Bee met and married the love of her life, Jason "Applejack" Newman, on January 14, 1993. Although she had no biological children, s he had a passion for all children. She helped to nurture and raise her great niece and great nephew, Malayah and Camari Payton, and was well respected by them both. Bee made it her business to make sure they were actively involved in church where they participated in the youth choir and numerous plays and a fashion show. If you asked Isadore where Bee was, she would say, Bee took all the kids to the park, beach or whatever she was in the mood to do that day.
Her favorite pastime was shopping, oh, how she loved to shop! She also enjoyed fishing and riding around town with her husband. If she wasn't with Jason, her riding partner was her mom, Isadore. When you saw Bee, trust and believe, you saw Isadore. Isadore was often found sitting in the car waiting for her to come out of a store. In fact, if Bee was here today, she would tell you that she has the BEST MOM EVER! Bee loved spending time with her family and friends and was the source of many jokes. She kept you laughing all the time. Bee had an infectious smile and a warm heart. She was preceded in death by her father; Thomas Chisley; grandparents; James and Mattie Carroll and James and Mary Chisley; aunts, Rosalee Carroll and Vera Lee; uncles, Glenn Carroll, James Chisley and Cecil Chisley; and father-in-law, Lawrence Newman.
Bee leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Lawrence "Jason" Newman; her devoted mother, Isadore Chisley; sisters, Tina Wimbush and Lynna Payton; brothers, Bradley and Perry Chisley; mother-in-law, Dorothy E. Newman; sisters–in-law, Samantha Chisley, Kimberly Chisley and Fern Newman; brothers-in-law, Kim Payton, Greg Rosier (Blondell) and Emmitt Newman (Lory); aunts, Iretha Heard, Mable Keys, Ann Lee, Vivian Dent, Shirley Carroll, Betty Brown, Anita Mason, Rose Chisley, Ada Chisley and Margaret Pratt; uncles, Bernard Carroll, Norman Carroll, Adolph Carroll, Lynel Dent, Herman Keys, Bobby Lee, Richard Chisley and Julius Chisley; nieces, Kiya and LaKesha Payton, Precious and Jaylen Chisley and Angelica Hawkins; nephews, De'L Bannister, Perraz Chisley, Pierre Payton, Christopher Hawkins and Charles Hudson; godchildren, Janae Proctor and Samara Robinson; four great nieces, seven great nephews and a host of family and friends.
