IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Ronald
"Ronnie" Goldring
September 27, 1960 – October 22, 2022
GOLDRING, JAMES RONALD "RONNIE" (AGE 62) OF WALDORF, MARYLAND
James Ronald Goldring "Ronnie" was born September 27, 1960, to the late Margaret T. Goldring and Joseph E. Dorsey. Also preceding him in death his daughter Veronica K. Goldring; brothers John Marvin, Daniel, and Donald Goldring.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 35 years, Thelma Goldring; daughters, Sharquita Kelly (Charles), Shalonda Jackson (Amos); son, Christopher Wilson; grandchildren, Sidney, Neena, Naja'i, Niyah, and Nalani; great grandchildren, Camdyn and Wynter; brother, Rudy Goldring (Gloria) sister, Sharon Goldring (Levi) and a host of other special relatives and friends.
Ronnie and Thelma found love on a two-way street in 1983 and married in 1987. From that union they created a family of three daughters, a special son, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Ronnie worked for G&B Insulation and 84 Lumber for over 35 years as a Qualified Insulator until his death. He was a DALLAS COWBOYS fan. He wore that hat every day. We could walk in a store, restaurant or anywhere and someone always had something to say about the cowboys because he had that hat on; there went a 5-minute conversation. He listened to Joel Osteen every day. His favorite songs to dance to were "Wifey" and "Just in Case;" he listened to a lot of old school music. When he played basketball in his early years, he was the star of the court. He liked watching basketball and football. His favorite TV shows were "In the heat of the night" and " Married with Children;" he loved Al Bundy . He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved those children more than me; I would say, let's go to Ocean City this weekend, he would say, what are you going to do with the kids? He was always the life of the party, everyone always laughed so hard when he was around. At any time, you would never know if you were the next victim of Ronnie's head locks or jokes. He was our Bernie Mac. If you were upset or mad and you ran into him, you would not be mad anymore. He had a curse word for you always or you would be threatened with that knife. We got re-married and he had the priest laughing. They said, GOD only takes the best and He took the BEST. He was a good man and friend to all.
