James Edward Proctor, Jr. (Age 50) of Pomfret, Maryland.

Early in the morning of Tuesday, December 26, 2017, James Edward Proctor, Jr., suddenly stepped into eternity. He was the son of the late James Edward Proctor, Sr. and the late Mary Bernadette Proctor.

James was born on April 8, 1967 in LaPlata, Maryland. He was educated in the Charles County school system. He was a friend to everyone, especially his buddies, the late Eric Moss and the late Gonzey Dyson. James was an excellent handyman. He worked whenever and wherever there was an opportunity. Every job he performed was done as efficiently and precisely as possible. He enjoyed going to the Budds Creek Race Track and favored Ford vehicles especially Mustangs and his fathers old 1970 Ford truck.  In addition to watching race cars, James had a hobby of working on cars. "Oldies but goodies" music was a favorite and so were family cookouts.  Being with family and friends gave James the most enjoyment but living life "his way" with no one telling him what to do or tying him down made it his "best life!"

He leaves to cherish special memories, one brother, James Gregory Swann, sister-in-law, Gloria Swann, aunt, Naomi Richardson, uncles, Matthew Swann and Bernard Swann, nieces and nephew, Whitley, Mahogany, Brittany, and Gregory Swann, Jr., great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
