Obituary
On September 28, 2012, James Robert Hill, better known as Dr. J or Doc quietly departed this life at his home in Forestville, Maryland surrounded by family and love ones.
Robert was born in Washington, D.C., on February 6, 1952, to Mary Luvenia Jupiter and the late Lawson Wilbur Hill.
He attended public schools in Charles County, Maryland, where he grew up with a close and loving family.
In his early years of employment, Robert was an Auto Mechanic. In later years, he became a Carpenter and worked for many years side-by-side with his brother Lawrence (Darnell) doing home improvements.
He enjoyed going to the race track, shooting pool, fishing with his grandson, swimming, and he loved to dance. His pride and joy was the family race car that beared his name (Dr. J).
In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise and a brother, William Dennis Jennings, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Patricia Warren-Hill, one daughter, Lakisha, one grandson, JaVahn and one granddaughter, Tyler, mother, Mary Luvenia Jupiter, two sisters, Joyce Ann (Wade), and Cherette, seven brothers, Thomas, Darnell (Betty), John Jr., Joseph, Lloyd, Angelo (Pam), Wayne, mother-in-law, Laverne Bedell, two aunts, Rosalee Cannady and Joyce Holton, two uncles, Joseph Holton Jr., and Steven Holton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
