On Thursday, June 1, 2017, our Mighty Lord summoned James Elmer Dorsey (Jimmy) as another angel.  Jimmy grew tired and went home to paradise to become a servant of our Mighty Lord and to rejoin his departed mother, Mary Hilda Dorsey, father, James Alphonso Dorsey and beloved sisters, Janice Yates Lancaster and Brenda Elaine Dorsey.  Jimmy loved taking walks, talking on the phone and hanging out with friends, but most of all, Jimmy loved making people laugh.

Jimmy, it broke our hearts to see you go, still we mourn and love you so. We know you are in no more pain, knowing that we will rejoin you again. We know you are in mom's care, especially having two sisters there.

Fly high our angel.

Jimmy leaves his loving family to cherish his memory, three brothers, Joseph L. Tolson, Jr., John F. Tolson and David M. Dorsey, three sisters, Shirley E. Dorsey, Sheila D. Dorsey, Linda P. Yates and a host of nieces and nephews.  The family's wish is to have a small private service for family only.

The family wishes to send a very special "Thank You" to Miss Angela Doar.
