JAMES A. BUTLER (AGE 63) OF NEWBURG, MARYLAND.
James Alexander Butler was born on April 24, 1957 to the late Mary Louise Edelen and Russell Duckett in Charles County, Maryland. On Monday, March 1, 2021 "Jimmy", as he was affectionately know, earned his wings and was called to his heavenly home.
Jimmy grew up in Charles County, and was educated in the Charles County Public School system. He was employed by the Charles County Board of Education.
Jimmy enjoyed working in the yard, watching sports such as basketball and football with being a Dallas Cowboy die-heart fan. He loved playing spades and 500 card games. He was a talented artist and would do his nieces and grandma's hair. He was extremely kind hearted and a caring person.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his fiancé' Veronica 'Pete' Miles, grandparent, aunts, Audrey Cutchember, Julia Ford and Margaret Butler, uncles, Ralph, Joseph and James T Butler.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his children Sheashaun Burns, Italia Burns, J'Von Butler (Tasha Frobs), grandchildren Jaliyah and Joseph Brown along with his sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
His Viewing will be, 9:00 am, until Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20640. Interment, Church Cemetery.
