Obituary

James (Bubba) Alton Proctor, Jr. was born in Washington, D.C. on August 8, 1950 to Sylvia and the late James Proctor, Sr. At his home, on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 12:52am, he peacefully departed this life and entered into eternal rest.

"Bubba," as he was more affectionately known, attended Charles County Public Schools and was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He was a hard working man and was truly a giver ?from the heart.? He had a beautiful personality and was a loving and caring man. Because of these characteristics, he captured the heart of Rosa Lee Ford and became her husband and the father of her son, Preston Tommy Holmes and daughter Karen. Bubba?s love was of such a great magnitude that more children were inevitable. Rosa Lee and Bubba were blessed with twin girls, Tyreese and Cyreese, followed by Mikesha. His family was his world. He touched many hearts and lives over his short fifty-five years and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Bubba enjoyed shooting pool, especially eight (8)ball, cutting wood and witnessing the accomplishments of what his children could do, when they were at their best.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rose Lee Proctor. They are again, ?Together Forever? in eternity.

Left to cherish many memories are his children, Preston Tommy Holmes, Karen Chesley, Tyreese Proctor, Cyreese Proctor and Mikesha Cooks; grandchildren, Russell, Keyana, Dominique, Tashea, Chasity, Jameka, Tyreke, Tyrel, DeAntre?, Avery Jr., Jasmine, Tyonna, Ra?Naisha, Richard, Asia, David, Saquian, Averyonna and Tierra; his mother, Sylvia Proctor; sisters, Christa Newsome, Cindy Harley, Sandy Proctor, Marie Swann and Betty Baldwin; brothers, Daniel, Danny, Jeffrey, William, Mikey, Timmy, Paul and Lawrence Proctor; Godchild, Derick Riley; sisters-in-law, Valerie, Joyce, Pam, Karen, Debbie, Angline and Stephanie Proctor, Mary Thompson, Shirley and Beulah Ford, Dorothy Ford-Watts, Pauline Mason and Gladys Evans; brothers-in-law, Val Harley, Leonard Baldwin, Kotrell (Clyde) Newsome, Francis Ford, Genuis (John) Lewis, Gene Johnson, Cecil (John) Ford, Walter Brown, Teenie Man Thompson, Thomas Evans, Ronnie Mason and Ray Watts; special friends, Jasper Rosier and Rodney Montgomery; a host of nieces and nephews; the Hutts family and the Pool League Players and many friends.
