IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jamarr Lamont
Tann
December 9, 1988 – November 29, 2023
TANN, JAMARR LAMONT (AGE 34) OF ACCOKEEK, MARYLAND
Jamarr Tann transitioned to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2023, at Southern Maryland Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Jamarr was born on December 9, 1988, in Washington DC at Washington Hospital Center to Thaddeus and Ella Tann. Jamarr was educated in Prince George's County Public School System, graduating from Gwyn Park Senior High School. Jamarr was always full of Surprises. Jamarr and Tashea, high school sweethearts brought us the greatest surprise of all, Taneeyah and Taniyah Tann born September 20, 2010. He was dedicated to his family and his job at the United States Post Office. He started his career as a CCA Carrier then advanced to a full time Mail Carrier.
At the time of his death Jamarr affected many people in his lifetime. He loved and enjoyed the Washington Redskins. Jamarr could be counted on to talk trash whether they won or lost.
Jamarr was member of Mount Ennon Baptist Church. He was baptized at the age of thirteen by Pastor Delmon Coats, Senior Pastor. Every time Jamarr did something his mother would say the Pastor did not leave you in the water long enough. He would then begin to giggle.
He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy: his parents Ella and Thaddeus Tann. His precious children Taneeyah and Taniyah Tann; Loving and supportive friend Tashea Chesley; his brothers: Brandon Tann (Best Friend), Antwan Boykins (Melissa). Also to cherish his memory his maternal grandparents: Elsie Judge, Robert Glasco; His aunts & uncles: James Medlin, Lizette Early, Venice Glasco, Robert C. Glasco, and Leo Tann. His loving nieces & nephew: Destiney, Kimora, Azaria, Akina and Armandi. A host of cousins and other relatives. In addition, many friends who loved and cherished him. His paternal grandparents Annie and Sidney Tann preceeded him in death.
