Jaiden Michael Cooper, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin departed this life on May 3, 2025 peacefully at his home in Bryans Road, Maryland. He was born July 31, 2006 to Malissa Simmons and John Cooper Jr. in Washington DC. Jaiden received his education in the

Charles County Public School System, enrolled in the Achieve program. From an early age, even with his health ailments it was clear that Jaiden loved being around other children, it bought him such joy. Jaiden loved the sound of children playing, laughter, music and for people to talk to him and include him as much as possible. While Jaiden was nonverbal, his bright spirit spoke volumes. Jaiden had an infectious laugh and that made his light shine even brighter. Jaiden made friends everywhere he went and was loved by everyone that came across his path. Jaiden will be remembered for his strength, resilience, smile and light.

On Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00am,  friends will gather to support the family of Jaiden and at 12:00 noon, celebrate his life at Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
