Harry Lee Bolden (age 77) of Brandywine, Maryland
Harry Lee Bolden was born in Brandywine, Maryland, June 30, 1945, to the late Reed Augusta and Eunice Alverta Bolden. He was the second son and fifth child of thirteen children.
Harry was educated in the Prince George's County school system. He served in the United States Navy and was Honorably Discharged in 1965. He worked various jobs, but his passion was driving. Harry never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He lived life to its fullest. Harry was the proud father of five beautiful children who meant the world to him.
He received Christ into his life at a later age and was a dedicated member of the National Church of God for many years. As Harry's health began to decline he moved into the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home where he lived out his life. Harry will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; son, Michael; brothers, Reed Anderson and Donald; and sisters, Leatrice and Virginia Johnson.
He leaves to cherish precious memories: sons, Daryl (Jackie) and Harry Bolden, Jr., affectionately known as "Judge" (Crystal); daughters, Andrea Skinner, affectionately called "Angel" and Monique Bolden (Marvin); brother, Rodney (Barbaranette); sisters, Shirley Onley, Barbara Bolden, Brenda Talley (Otis), Yvette Chase (Lee), Mary "Judy" Brown (Sheldon), Renee Pruitt (Terry), Faith Shelton (Ross); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor, December 1, 2022; Family and Friends Gathering at 10:00 am, Memorial Service, 11:00 am, in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
