Obituary
Geraldine Audrey Taylor was born August 8, 1927 to John Melvin and Bessie Proctor Harvey of Mason Springs, Maryland.
Geraldine, also known as Gerri, departed this life after a long illness, at 2:40 am, October 24, 2014 at the Charles County Rehabilitation Center in La Plata, Maryland.
After many years of service, Geraldine retired from The Department of Army.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, John Melvin and Bessie C. Harvey, one brother, John (Stoney) and two sisters, Iola Harley and Rosebud Coffee.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Paul, one sister, Sylvia Parker (Glynn); two brothers, James "Bruts" Harvey (Phyllis) and Paul "Phylistine" Harvey; five sisters-in-law, Betty Taylor, Lena Lancaster, Anita Taylor, Roberta Taylor and Marguerite Harvey.
Viewing, 8am until time of Service, 10am, Monday, November 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland.
Interment, Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
