Garry E. Brown was born on November 5, 1959 in Newburg, Maryland to Agnes Chase. He was a dedicated Christian and devoted to his family and friends. He peacefully answered the Lord’s call and was received in our Lords arms on May 8, 2026.

Garry was educated in the Charles County Public School system and graduated from La Plata High School. He was employed by the Charles County Board of Education and Captain John’s Seafood House Restaurant as a Lead Chef.

At a young age, Garry enjoyed singing and dancing with his family and friends. Listening to soulful music like Al Green, Curtis Mayfield and the Quiet Storm. Garry also loved visiting with his friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother: Agnes Chase, Brothers: Barry Butler, Brian Chase, Montez Chase, Corey Chase, Sister: Angela Smith (Joseph), Uncles: Thomas Clark, James Clark (Cecilia) and a host of Nieces and Nephews, relatives and friends. Also, a special cousin Lillian who was always there lending a helping hand.

Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, May 19 from 10am until time of service at 11am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 15848 Rock Point Road Newburg, MD. Interment immediately to follow at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Cemetery, Newburg, MD. 

ALL FLOWERS SHOULD BE DELIEVERED TO THE CHURCH!
