Obituary

Frederick Theodore Medley, III, affectionately known as Uncle Junior, or Freddy, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Frederick Theodore and Rosalie Mary Medley. A native of Chapel Hill, Maryland, Frederick received his sacraments at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Junior proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. By nature, Junior was a handy man of all trades and worked as a laborer for Pool and Kent Mechanical Contractors. His education was received at the Prince George's County Schools. Junior thought he was the champion of checkers and bid whist. Often, he said what was on his mind, but one knew that his bark was harsher than his bite. He also had a true love for debating on any issue.

His loving character showed in his visits joining in family fun. In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn and Juanita. Leaving behind memories, Junior aka Uncle Junior will be missed by his daughter, Faith, sisters, Priscilla (Patsy), Antoinette & Shea, and a host of beloved aunts, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13405 Piscataway Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Interment, Church Cemetery.
