Francis DeCarlo Thompson, 68 of Nanjemoy, Maryland.
Francis DeCarlo Thompson, most affectionately known as Carlo departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the age of 68 in Waldorf, Maryland.
He was born March 26, 1950 to the late Robert & Annie Thompson.
Carlo attended public school in Charles County, Maryland. He was employed by several organizations, last being Charles County Parks & Recreation as a Landscaper.
Carlo had a passion for fishing and classic cars, he was also a man of many talents, which included working on cars and would help anyone in need. He was loved by many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William C. Thompson, James F. Thompson, Robert C. Thompson and Joseph A. Thompson; two brothers-in law, James E. Proctor and John Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Thompson, five children, Carla (Lawrence), Carin (Keith), Carlo (Renee), Carlene (Randolph) and Rhonda Proctor; two God daughters, Donna Mitchell and Da'yshia Butler; two sisters, Sandra Johnson and Teresa Carter and one brother, Philistine Thompson (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, Mother-in-law, Sarah Proctor, four sisters-in-law, Mary Lee, Hazel Short (Harold), Denise Carter (Ignatius) and Shawnta Lee; one brother-in-law, David Proctor (Joyce) and a host of nieces, nephews, four close friends, Harold Short, Wendell Queen, James Carter and Cecil Carroll and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing, 10:00 am, until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am, Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 30 Mattingly Avenue, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Strauss Avenue, Glymont, Maryland.
