IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Etta Mae
Kremer
September 11, 1937 – December 1, 2017
On September 11, 2017, the late Lloyd W. Kremer, Sr. and the late Etta Martina Kremer gave birth to a baby girl and named her Etta Mae Kremer. Family affectionately called her "Mae."
Etta was born in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Facing some health challenges caused by polio, Etta attended the old Accokeek Elementary School until she was 11 years old at which time she lost her ability to walk. She never complained about her physical challenges nor did she let that stop her from enjoying life.
Etta attended and was baptized at Shiloh Church. In her younger days, she enjoyed helping her mother in the kitchen preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved her family and friends and only had kind words for them all especially her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed visiting family from out of town. She was often called upon to be a babysitter for her family which she dearly loved.
Etta was thought of as an angel. She appreciated the beauty of plants and loved her animals and would always open her heart for her "fur babies."
On Friday, December 1, 2017, Etta quietly transitioned to eternal life at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, LaPlata, Maryland.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Kremer and Peggy Kremer and brother, Lloyd "Sonny" Kremer, Jr.
She is survived by a son, Walter Kremer, brother Wayne, sister Betty, niece and caregiver, Peggy Swann. Also surviving are grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great grand, great great grand and great great great grand nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
