Estelle Margaret (Maddox) Taylor (Age 83) of Accokeek, Maryland.

Estelle Margaret Taylor was born March 26, 1934 to the late Eugene Howard and Pearl Maddox in Marbury, Maryland. Estelle unexpectedly departed this life on February 7, 2018.

Estelle was born and raised in Marbury, Maryland where she attended Charles County public schools. She loved to cook and bake. She especially loved the fact that she was able to take in her elderly aunts, Alice Kelton and Ann Maddox. She took care of them until the day they went home to be with the Lord. Having kids over for the weekend and spending summer breaks with her great nieces, was something her and the girls looked forward to. Estelle's independence was the one thing she was most proud of as she began to reach her older years. She was glad she could still take care of herself. Estelle enjoyed spending time with family and was blessed to see the children grow up and have families of their own. Estelle spent her spare time with her very dear and close friend, Paul (Mac) Washington. The family would like to express a special thank you to Mrs. Azelle Proctor for all she did for Estelle.

Estelle was preceded in death by her husband; Everett Taylor, son, Timothy Brooks, sisters, Louise Key and Geraldine Key, brother, Earl Maddox, niece, Doris Maddox, nephews, Donald Maddox, Mark Taylor, Ricky Maddox and Edward Key, Sr., great nephews, Wallace Maddox and Michael Key, Jr. and great-great niece Jo'nae Davis.

Estelle leave to cherish her memory, son, Alvin Brooks (Pamela), three special nieces, Brenda Davis, Linda Stewart and Geraldine Key-Wood and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Viewing, 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 30 Mattingly Avenue, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.

Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Strauss Avenue, Glymont, Maryland 20640.
