Eric Charles Battle, 25 of Waldorf, Maryland.

Eric Charles Battle was born August 29, 1995 to Charles and Kimberly Battle in Washington DC. He was the baby of three children. Eric transitioned Thursday August 5, 2021.

Eric attended Henry G. Ferguson Elementary School in Accokeek Maryland. The Family then moved to Waldorf Maryland where he attended Davis Middle and went on to North Point High School where he received his Diploma in 2013.

As a child Eric accepted Christ and was baptized at El-Bethel Baptist Church. Eric was very vocal about his love for Christ and his warm smile and kind heart was seen and felt by all who came in contact with him.

Eric was employed by Prince Georges County School System where his love for computers grew stronger leading him to Just Tech in LaPlata Maryland for four years.  In 2020 Eric began his dream job at SAIC (State Department) IT Help Desk Tech where he was excelling and well received by his co-workers until his passing.

Eric loved to dance and although not always on beat, it was his own drum that he would move to. His infectious smile and bubbly personality drew people to him wherever he went. As much as he loved to have a good time Eric loved and demanded his personal space. His love of family was his forever safe space and he was very protective of his safe space.

Eric is survived by his Parents Charles and Kimberly Battle, his older Siblings Brother Ernest, Sister Kiera, Great Grand Mother Sallie Carter (Newport News VA), Grand Mothers Dorothy Battle (Alexandria VA), Winona Fair (Forestville MD), Grand Father Charles Battle Sr. (Rocky Mount NC), two Nieces Morgan and Reagan whom he adored very much and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Viewing, 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.  Interment, Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
