Elizabeth Bertha Clark, 89 of La Plata, Maryland.

Elizabeth Bertha Clark (Honeybunch) went to be with our Savior on Thursday June 07, 2018 in La Plata, Maryland.

Elizabeth was born on July 10,1928 in Mount Victoria, Maryland to the late John Lindsey and Mary Rebecca Clark. She celebrated her birthday on April 10, 1928. It was just a few years ago when she realized that her birthday was actually July 10.

Elizabeth was the thirteenth of fourteen children.

Growing up in Shiloh, Maryland, Elizabeth spent a lot of time at Shiloh Community Methodist Church where she attended and participated in various activities. She was a very active member of the Shiloh church community. She was a member in good standings with Daughters of Elks Abbie M. Johnson Temple #718 since 1973.

Elizabeth was educated in Charles County Public Schools. She was employed at several different jobs, including the Naval Ordnance Station and Hardesty Restaurant. Her last employment was for the Charles County Public School System. She loved her jobs and was a dedicated worker.

She helped to raise many nieces and nephews, especially Charles and Kevin Johnson.

Elizabeth loved telling stories with friends and family. She loved the Washington Wizards and Washington Redskins. She especially enjoyed playing Bingo.

Her friends at her apartment in La Plata Manor were her extended family. She loved the activities and enjoyed cooking for them. She looked forward to the bus trips coordinated by the Manor, especially the casino trips.

Elizabeth leaves to celebrate her memories through her devoted son, Lindsey Green Sr. (Agnes), five grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her Viewing will be, 10:00 am until time of Service, 11:00 am, Monday, June 11, 2018 at Shiloh Community United Methodist Church, Newburg, Maryland.  Interment, Church Cemetery.
