Brown, Edna Mae Clagett (Age 77) of Temple Hills, Maryland.
On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Futurecare Pineview Nursing Home in Clinton, Maryland, Edna Mae Clagett Brown transitioned into eternal rest.
Edna was born on September 22, 1934 in Piscataway, Maryland to the late Joseph Henry and the late Edna Grace (Middleton) Clagett.
She was employed with the Federal Government as a Supervisor in Security at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, D.C. where she retired after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her daughter, Sacred Brown and sister, Adell Avent.
She is survived by two loving daughters, Linda and Margo; son, Phil; grandson, Terry; five sisters, Elizabeth Davis, Theresa Fox, Margaret Harris, Mary Branson and Veronica Graham; three brothers, Anthony , Charles and Joseph Clagett.
Her Viewing will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 9am until 10am at Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Mass of Christian Burial, 11am at St. Mary's Piscataway Catholic Church, 13401 Piscataway Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Interment, Church Cemetery.
