On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, Dorothy Elizabeth Newman of Indian Head, Maryland, loving mother of Lawrence, Emmitt, and Elizabeth Newman, quietly transitioned to eternal life at the University of Maryland, Charles Regional Medical Center.

Her services are being held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPlata, Maryland.  Interment Church Cemetery.
