HARRIS-YATES, DERINEE MICHELLE (AGE 72) OF WASHINGTON, D.C.
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Derinee "Dee Dee"quietly stepped into eternity while at the Stoddard Baptist Global Care, Washington, D.C. She was born on September 12, 1953 to Norman and Dorothy Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlton O. Yates.
Left to cherish many memories are her beloved daughter, Diamond Harris; sons, Carlton Harris, Anton Harris and Julius Harris (Jenae Harris); grandchildren, Jeniah, Julius, Julian, Jade and Cynthia Harris, Tyleek, Ameen and Cherish Mundy; treasured siblings as well as a host of nieces and nephews other family members and friends.
Her viewing will be held from 11:00am until time of Celebration of Life 12:00noon on Sunday, July 26, 2026 Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
