Obituary
Our beloved David Arlin Watson was the second child born to Thomas Cocroft Watson and the late Lillian Anne Watson at Prince Georges County hospital on October 24 th 1976. He peacefully departed this life on August 24, 2017 at Charles County Hospice in Waldorf, MD. David graduated from Bladensburg Senior High School in 1994 and continued his studies at Howard University.
There he found his love for Architecture. He graduated from Howard University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He was loved by much of the Howard University staff as well as the Howard University Hospital staff. He would leave class and receive a ride from the Architecture building by the security staff to his dialysis appointments. During the time on the dialysis machine, he would study, talk with the medical technicians or simply take a nap. After dialysis David would go to Negril and purchase a spicy beef patty, cocoa bread, and a ginger beer.
David also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and expressing his opinions in many of his life events. He could speak on many subjects. Although he had a gift and understanding of art, he loved to discuss literature, music, home and garden designs, cars, food, business and political issues.
David loved his family unconditionally. He was a wonderful son and a brother to all of his friends and family. To my brother, you will be missed by many just as you were loved by many. He leaves to cherish his memory his father Thomas, his brothers Robert (Sherisse) and Keith (Maisha Mir), niece and nephew Shae and Devon, Aunt Rachel and Uncles Michael and Ira, and cousins Dawn and Carmen.
