Hairston, Darryl Allen II (Age 20) of Fort Washington, MD

Darryl Allen Hairston, II was born April 26, 1996, in the District of Columbia, to Darryl and Tina Hairston. He was the youngest of their four children. Darryl attended Prince George's County Public Schools. August of 2015, he graduated Suitland High School, where he studied to be a mechanic and received a Certificate of Completion in the Metro Program.

He worked as a contractor for the Federal Government from October 2015 until the day of his passing. He was a member of Kingdom Covenant Church under the leadership of Pastor Gloria E. Easter. Darryl loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing PlayStation with his nephew. Darryl was a quiet kid that turned into a social butterfly. He was loved by many and on his way to a bright future.

Darryl departed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his brother William Allen Hairston and his grandmother Frances Hairston. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents; Darryl and Tina, his loving sisters; Chakita, Tondalai (Maurice), Jasmine, his loving nephew Maurice Pitts, Jr., his grandparents; Lemuel and Georgia Thomas, great uncle Charles Brown, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

His viewing will be held from 9:00am until time of service 11:00am, Ebenezer AME Church, 7707 Allentown Road, Fort Washington, MD 20744.
