IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Darrell Soull
Skelton
February 2, 1967 – March 26, 2017
This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad!
A branch from our Family Tree is Broken
On 26, March 2017, the heavens parted and the angels rejoiced as Darrell Soul Skelton was called home to be with the Lord.
Darrell Soul Skelton aka "Bud" was born on February 2, 1967 in Washington, DC to Thelma White and Joseph Skelton (deceased). Darrell was educated in the District of Columbia School System and graduated from Dunbar Senior High School 1985. Darrell, as many called him was the youngest of 7 children. His extraordinaire personality was far fetch than none. He was an outgoing person who loved to interact with his family. He enjoyed watching TV, playing chess and familiarizing himself with the computer. Darrell was a funny person and loved to crack jokes or talk trash especially if the conversation had anything to do with football. Darrell was a devoted Washington Redskin fan.
He was a loving, respectful, kind -hearted charming man who dedicated himself to the virtues of being an adult which further elevated his manhood! Darrell shared his never-ending love and Big Heart in only the way "Bud" could, as he served as a surrogate father to so many, mainly his nieces. The children in the family had love for him always surrounding him. His kind demeanor is attributed to his upbringing to include the close knit relationship he had with his sister Raylnn who he considered his spiritual mother. Darrell will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves long lasting memories to his loving mother Thelma White; seven proud siblings, Eugene (Roberta), Gregory (Alva), Raylnn and Pastor Joshua Kevin White (Terri); Velda (Steve), Keith (George Ann) and Tia Skelton; Michael (Edith), Melita (Darnell) and Nicole Cooper. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Skelton; Brother Tyrone White and his Grandmother Geraldine Riley.
Darrell also leaves 19 honored nieces, 12nephews, 6 uncles, Daniel Abbott, Bernard, Maurice, Kenneth Riley and Waverly Mason; 2 aunts, Bernice Matthews and Carolyn Jones; a host of cousins and devoted friends, especially Renny, Speedo, Cynthia "Black" McDuffie, Janice and Kim to celebrate his life and to continue a tradition that Darrell Soul Skelton embarked upon in life and perfected until the day God called him home –LIVE BIG, THINK BIG AND LOVE EVEN BIGGER!
