Constance Phylina Morten, the daughter of the late Tom and Clara Templeton, was born on November 1, 1957 in Washington DC. Surrounded by her family, Constance was called home to glory on November 4, 2023 in Georgetown Hospital, Washington D.C.
Constance was united in holy matrimony to Curtis Morten in April of 1978 and from this union three children were born, Tarsha, Gwendolyn, and Clarice Morten. Constance also took on the role of a mother figure for Mytia Hunte who she considered her fourth daughter.
Constance was educated in the Charles County Public School System and graduated from Lackey High School in 1976. She was a devoted, nondenominational Christian woman.

She was affectionately known as "Ann" to her family and friends. She was most proud of raising her children who she often referred to as her "golden girls". She also took a special joy in caring for her grandchildren including Jamia Williams, Akira Hall, Cordez Hall, Azerae Hall, and Christopher Mackie.
Constance was an enthusiastic dog lover with a passion for crocheting. She loved to cook and her specialty lied within her award-winning spaghetti sauce. She was keen on fashion and never missed an opportunity to dress her best. She took special enjoyment in self - care, one thing she always enjoyed was pampering herself with a fresh manicure and pedicure. Constance enjoyed being surrounded by family, she was a light that constantly shined with her bright personality and resilient spirit at any family gathering.
She was preceded in life by her grandmother Genievieve Briscoe, grandfather Tom Templeton Sr., grandmother Frankie May Templeton, her father Tom Templeton, her mother Clara Templeton, and her brother Donnell Templeton.
