Clarence Francis Henson, Sr., 73, of White Plains, Maryland.

Clarence Francis Henson, Sr., was born on January 16, 1950, to the late Margaret Henson Cobey and the late Clarence Savoy in Nanjemoy, Maryland.  He departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Restored Health Nursing Home, White Plains, Maryland.

"Buster," as he was affectionately known to most, was educated in the Charles County Public School system.  He was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Buster's greatest pastime was spent with family and friends.  He loved to have good old fun and often invited family and friends to his home.  Buster loved to entertain and cook on the grill.  His specialty was barbecued ribs.  Buster enjoyed listening to the oldies but goodies genre of music.

In addition to his parents, Buster was preceded in death by his late wife, Theresa Henson and sister, Denise Swann.  He leaves to cherish his memories, two children, Clarence Henson, Jr., and Shyanne Hill; two bonus children (raised as his own), Renneaka Bobo and Lakeisha Dyer; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Doris and Joyce Henson, Lessie Savoy, Doris Carroll and Evelyn Keys, a step-brother, Otis Cobey; four stepsisters, Agatha Carroll, Brenda Cobey, Bonnie Carroll and Donnie Milstead; and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Clarence Francis Henson, Sr., transitioned to eternal life.

Viewing, 10:00 a.m. until time of Service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
