CHRISTOPHER "CHIPPER" ANTHONY JAMIESON (AGE 35) OF LA PLATA, MD.
On May 20, 1981 in La Plata, Maryland, Christopher Anthony Jamieson was born to Mary Williams and became the son of Brenda and the late Joseph "Melvin" Jamieson.
Christopher, affectionately known as "Chipper" was a friendly, caring and smiling young man. He completed his education in the Charles County public school system. Chipper was a member of the ROTC and graduated from McDonough High School. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Army.
Chipper had a passion for cars and was happy fixing, driving or watching them at the race track. He loved working on cars so much he took pictures of his tools. His employment included various mechanic positions, and he could also be found, on occasion, cutting ribs at T&J Bar-b-Que Pit. He was currently employed as a mechanic with (VanGo) Transit America.
Chipper loved being a father and was devoted to his son, Dylan. Spending time with Dylan made him the happiest. He also enjoyed the phone conversations he would have with his daughter Sierra. To Chipper, being a father was his greatest accomplishment. Chipper also had a close bond with the "crew." They would sometimes travel together to Ocean City, MD enjoying the view and hanging out. He loved his family both immediate and extended, he enjoyed going to the gym and working out, but most importantly, Chipper loved the Lord and wasn't ashamed to talk about Him.
He joins in glory his father, Joseph Melvin "Pops" Jamieson, brothers, Joseph and Randolph "Randy" Jamieson and Derrick Williams, and aunt, Tyvice "Michelle" Holmes.
