WOOLFREY, CHRISTINA STAR (AGE 27) OF NORTH BEACH, VIRGINIA

Christina Star Woolfrey was born on April 2, 1992 in Fairfax, Virginia to Star and the late Junior Woolfrey.  She was affectionately known to her family and friends as "Teena Beana!"

Christina attended Gywnn Park High School but ultimately received her GED. Being a mom to her children Autumn and Bryson was her greatest job but also brought her the greatest joy.  She loved doing arts and crafts with her daughter, Autumn and taking both her children to the swimming pool.  When Christina wasn't with her children, she worked in the service industry.

Christina loved to go to church and attended many before recently attending New Life in Prince Frederick, Maryland.  She was fun loving and compassionate with a giving spirit; it didn't matter if you were rich or poor.  She was also an encourager often telling her sister "to be kind to others" or she would say "remember how awesome you are or did anyone tell you today that you are awesome?"  She enjoyed family functions and would bake you a cake for your birthday.  Christina was thoughtful like that but she was also caring and friendly and just beautiful inside and out.

Christina influenced her family with the love she shared and her desire to make everyone happy always encouraging them to do better.  She would paint rocks with love and peace and happiness to give to others.

Christina will be remembered for all the good things she did to help her family, the homeless and being an awesome daughter and sister.

Sadly, on October 10, 2019, Christina transitioned to eternal life while at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center.  She joins her father, Junior who preceded her in death.

In addition to her children, Autumn and Bryson, left to cherish many memories are her mother, Star Woolfrey Simms, step-father, Steven Simms, sisters, Stacy and Stephanie Woolfrey, brother, Steven Woolfrey, grandparents, Marie Coggins, Mae Armentrout, Bucky and Jean Bryant, aunts, Elizabeth Payne, Donna McGlone, Jo-ann Teter, Marylee Woolfrey, Angela McCarthy-Clavach, Darlene and Crystal Bryant, uncles, Frank Hinkley, Henry Cecil Woolfrey, Richard and Bobby Coggins, Donald Payne and Jamie Bryant, nieces and nephews, Nevelle Newman, Jemiah Chirwa, Zayla Parr and Steven Woolfrey and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held 10am until time of service 11am, Saturday, October 19, 2019, Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD.
