CAROLINE ELIZABETH COLBERT-COOPER (AGE 73) of WALDORF, MD

Caroline Elizabeth Colbert-Cooper entered this world on September 12, 1951, in Issue, MD, and left us way too soon on December 30, 2024, in Washington, D.C.

Caroline was educated in Charles County Public Schools and graduated from LaPlata High School in 1969. Caroline worked mostly in retail until the time of her passing. She enjoyed being with family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also adored spending time with her mother. Caroline devoted her time at work with her friends at Home Depot and enjoyed going to the gym with her friends and eating out. She loved listening to oldies while doing her weekend cleaning. Her favorite foods were pancakes, tuna fish and seafood.

Caroline was an excellent mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Blessed to cherish her memory is her mother Agnes Colbert, daughter, Contina Cooper, son, Michael Cooper, sisters, Joyce Colbert, brothers, Donald (Linda) and Jesse Colbert, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a special friend Cranston Jordan, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Caroline is preceded in death by her father James Colbert, son Robert Cooper Jr., brother Melvin Colbert and sister Catherine Brawner.

Friends may visit with the family Monday, January 13, 2025 from 9:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 15848 Rock Point Road, Issue, MD. Interment immediately to follow at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Cemetery, Issue, MD.
