Deacon Calvin Boyd Galbreath left us quite suddenly and unexpectedly to join his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, April 10th 2005. Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Bobbie Ann Galbreath and brothers Barry and Reginald, Calvin was married to the love of his life, Juanita M. Galbreath for more than two decades. Calvin?s legacy to his family is a lifetime example of true and unconditional love. Left to carry on the values that he demonstrated daily are his children and step-children Emanuel, Barry, Scott, Everett, Calvin, Jami, Heather, Terri, Tammy, Ebony and Jennell; grandson Carlos; sisters Ann, Chinita, Salathiel and Tara; brothers Carl, Dickie, Ricky, Joseph, Terrence, and Chauncey; Sisters-in-law Gabriele, Sharon, Tammy, Tonya and Rosalyn; brothers-in-law, Fernando, Fred, Julian, Robert and Ed and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and genuine friends.
Calvin, who was living in Waldorf, MD at the time of his passing, is a native of Hopkinsville, KY. The viewing will be held on Saturday, April 16th 2005, 9:00a.m. until time of service 10:30a.m. at Calvary Gospel Church, where Calvin proudly served as a Deacon. The church is located at 11150 Berry Road, Waldorf, MD (301) 843-5588. Calvin, a Vietnam veteran and career Department of Defense employee who worked at Ft. Myer, VA at the time of his death, will be laid to rest at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd., Waldorf, MD.
