BREANNA DIOR JENNINGS (Infant) OF WALDORF, MD
Breanna Dior Jennings was born to Rodrick and Teresa Jennings on June 30, 2016 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.
Weighing a mere 1 pound 15 ounces from the moment she took her first breath, the medical staff noticed her determination to survive and many even commented on how "feisty" she was. She regularly made it known she wasn't interested, nor needed certain tests or procedures by going so far as slapping a doctor's face!
Breanna's parents were armed and ready for the challenge to love, shelter, care and teach their only daughter; "The Princess" everything she needed to excel in life. Nothing would be impossible for Bre Bre.
Preceded in death by her brother DaeSean Jennings in 2009, Breanna is survived by her big brothers; Edward Cloyd, Jr. and DaeQuan Jennings who anxiously awaited the day she came home to show their baby sister the "how to's" of playing with Legos, riding a bike, computer games and protecting and mostly loving her. Breanna faced many medical obstacles during her short five months but overcame each one through the prayers of so many who never had an opportunity to meet her, but loved her.
Ultimately, during her final obstacle, although not our will, God's will was done and she now rests in perfect health with our Heavenly Father, her brother and other family members who have preceded her.
Breanna is also survived by her grandparents, Carole "CeCe" Cypress, Gregory and Lisa Butler and Arthur and Rhonda Adams. Great grandparents, Robert and Barbara Jennings, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends who desperately wanted to share in her life.
The Jennings family sincerely appreciates and thanks each person for the continued prayers, well wishes, financial support and love you have showered upon them during these very difficult months.
Our hearts are broken but until we meet again our sweet little baby girl, rests with Jesus. You will be forever loved and missed by all those you touched. We are left, but with memories we will always cherish.
