Betty Jean (Washington) Butler, 75, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

On Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland, Betty Jean Butler peacefully transitioned to eternal life.

Betty was the wife of the late Charles L. Butler, Sr.; Mother of Jerry Lyles, Sharon Butler Miller and Charles L. Butler, Jr. Also surviving are daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, Margaret Mansfield and Margie Richardson; brother, Arthur Washington and a host of relatives and friends.  She  retired from the United States Postal Service.

Viewing, 11:00 am, until time of Service, 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5560 Pleasant Grove Road, Marbury, Maryland 20658.  Interment, Church Cemetery.
