Artis Lamont Hickman, Jr. (Age 26) of Waldorf, Maryland.

On December 4, 1990 in Camp Springs, Maryland, Artis Lamont Hickman, Jr., was born to Artis Lamont Hickman, Sr. and Rosetta Yvonne Jackson.

Artis was educated in the Charles County school system and graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 2008.

The things that interested Artis most were volunteering with Meals on Wheels, anything about Michael Jackson and his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.  He enjoyed music, singing and dancing.  Artis was friendly with everyone he met and loved to help people.  He was most proud when he completed any task that helped someone else.  Artis was a Melwood Volunteer and had a loving and innocent heart.  The people who had the most influence in his life were his grandma, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar and Joel Osteen. He was a true gentleman, very helpful, sociable, funny and happy.  Artis would want to be remembered as being the perfect gentleman.

Artis leaves to cherish beautiful memories, his father and mother, grandmother, Rosetta H. Jackson, aunts, Pamela Jackson, Valerie Hickman and Tina Hickman, uncles, Clarence Jackson, Sr., Aaron Jackson and Adrian Jackson, cousins, Clarence Jackson, Jr., Anthony Jackson, Alex Jackson, Alisa Jackson and many more cousins in Florida and Baltimore.
