Arthur Henry Bobo, 61, of Waldorf, Maryland

Arthur Henry Bobo, 61 years old, of Washington, DC passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2022, at 5:10am at Veterans Hospital, in Washington, DC.

Arthur Henry Bobo was born in Washington, DC to Jesse and Mildred Bobo on January 15th, 1962. Both parents preceded him in death.

Arthur was a High School graduate of McKinley Technology High School, in Washington, DC. Arthur married Judy Ethel Bobo on May 18th, 1987, in Washington, DC. Arthur graduated from University of California in Los Angeles with a BS degree in Computer Information Systems and Chemistry. Arthur worked as an Audio Engineer for City of Refuge Church & Bethesda Temple of Apostolic Church in California for over 20 years. Arthur was a veteran of Desert Storm War and served in the United States Marines and was awarded several Medals and Awards throughout his tenure of service. Arthur was also involved in several clubs throughout his college years.

Arthur Bobo is survived by his wife Judy E. Bobo, daughter Elesha Bobo, brothers Guleford Bobo (Patricia Bobo), Dorsey Bobo (Pamela Bobo) and Alexis Bobo: sister Patricia Dahl (Donald Dahl): mother-in-law Mulvenia Fairnot, sisters-in-law Rose Fairnot, Carolyn Fairnot (Wallace Kennedy III) & Elaine Fairnot-Jackson (Brian Jackson) and brother-in-law James Fairnot (Henrietta Green)  god daughters Romeka Cunningham & Lakeisha Peterson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews.

His Viewing will be, 9:00 a.m., until time of Service, 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.  Interment, 1:30 p.m., Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia 22172.
