Angela Cecilia (Brown) Robinson (50) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland

On Saturday, March 28, 2020, Angela Cecilia Robinson, also known as "Angie" by family and friends; transitioned from this life, to her eternal home in Heaven. Angie fought a valiant battle on earth concerning her health; and ultimately received her reward, when her Heavenly Father called her home. Angie was born on November 4, 1969 in Washington, D.C., to the late John Louis Brown and Jean Marie Brown. Angie was educated in the Charles County public school system, later graduating from LaPlata High School in 1987.

At the age of 18, she accepted and professed a relationship with Jesus Christ. She initially joined the National Church of God, under Dr. T.L. Lowery. There, she was active and a faithful member; serving in Children's Ministry. Over the years, she and her family were in fellowship with other ministries, but eventually returned to National; where they continued to serve until the time of her passing.

Angela had a passion for the youth, young adults, and for those who may have thought of themselves as "less than" or "unworthy." Often, she could be found giving wise counsel to young people; as a confidant. Whatever was shared with her, she would not judge, or hold anyone in contempt; but like the loving Lord she served, she showed compassion in exchange. Angela enjoyed the simple things in life. She absolutely loved being at home with her family, knowing that time was of the essence. Angela loved to watch HGTV, doing scrapbooks, going to yard sales and supporting her children in extracurricular activities. She enjoyed making her house a home for her family and friends.

Professionally, Angela worked at the Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home as a Nursing Assistant. She was served a tenure with the Pentagon Federal Credit Union. Her last work assignment was at the Corkran Pre-School, where she served as a Teacher's Aide.

In the tenth grade, Angela met her soul mate, Anthony Harold Robinson, Sr. After four years of dating, they eloped in 1990. They celebrated their 30 ^th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2020.

Angie leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Anthony Harold Robinson, Sr; her two children, Anthony Harold Robinson, Jr and daughter, Autumn Nicole Robinson; mother, Jean Marie Brown; siblings, Shirl Chisley (Thomas), Michael Brown, Kenneth "Kenny" Brown, Karen Dennis (Sean), Melissa Savoy (Marvin), Joseph Brown, Richard "Ricky" Brown (Naomi) and Darrel Brown. Angie is also survived by special friends, Lori Bledsoe, Mary Brown, Denise "Niecy" Leonard and Sandy Manuel. Angie is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, mother-in-love, sisters-in-love, family and friends.
