Alonda Anne El-Amin,  46 of Washington, D.C.

Alonda El-Amin earned her angel wings on December 25, 2019. She was born on November 10, 1973 in Prince Georges County, Maryland to  James Armstrong Proctor Hoe and Carrie Elizabeth Proctor Hoe.

Alonda grew up in Charles County Maryland and attended Charles County public schools. She was known as the life of the party. She always had a smile on her face and a funny story to tell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Proctor Hoe, husband, Muhamad El-Amin, brother, Raymond Thompson Jr. "Roach", brother-in-law, Henry Gronau Sr., grandson, Ashton Burton and two nephews, Joshua Jones and Jerame Swann.

Alonda leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her children; Shadonna, Amanda, Savon, Brionna and Brion; two grandsons, Marcus Jr. "MJ" and Jeremiah, four sisters, Gloria, Debbie, Mary (Allen) and Donna (James); two brothers, James (Alaina) and Donald (Gloria) and her beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her Viewing will be, 10:00 am, until time of Service, 11:00 am, Friday, January 3, 2020 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.  Interment, Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
