Stringer, Alease J. (Age 84) of Bowie, Maryland
On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Alease Julieatta Stringer peacefully transitioned at the University of Maryland Capitol Region Medical Center. She was the wife of Alfred Stringer. Also surviving are her children and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her viewing will be held from 10:00am until time of service 11:00am on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, 1:00pm, Monday, June 15, 2026 Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
