A LIFE WELL LIVED

Adele Unice Marshall de Padmore was born November 22, 1921 in Paraiso de Canal Zone, Panama. Adele attended school in Red Tank, Canal Zone, Paraiso and Rio Bajo. From an early age Adele's life was engulfed in the work of the Lord.

Her love for people and a hunger for the Word of God continued as she enrolled and earned several certificates via correspondence courses on the Bible. Adele spent most of her Christian walk and service, approximately 30 years as a devoted member of Redemption Church of God in Christ, in Brooklyn, NY, It is here where God's will in her life flourished and was manifested. She was a Missionary, a Sunday School Teacher, Choir President and Pastor's Aide Worker. She was consecrated as a Senior Missionary under the auspices of The Bibleway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ World Wide, Inc. in 1975.
Earning the name Mother Padmore, she continued in her Bible Studies and graduated from the Metropolitan Bible Institute in 1976. She served faithfully in her posts and was known as a true woman of God; encourager, prayer warrior, confident and noon day prayer leader. Mother Padmore, was also an active member in church choirs and served as the Senior Choir Vice President.

Adele touched many lives outside of the church through her love and compassion for those in need particularly children and young adults. Her talents were many and among them she was a talented seamstress using her gifts to sew for the family, people in the church and for families in need at schools that her grandchildren attended.

From her arrival in the U.S., Adele provided care to other people's children and treated child as her own. Her home and love are remembered by many. Her teaching of God and His word was a part of her daily routine with everyone who came into her home whether you believed or not. In the 1980's Adele received her license to run a Daycare in her home. She was recognized by many endearing names but most of all, GGMa and a Mighty Woman of God.

On Thursday morning, October 13, 2016 at her home in Bryans Road, Maryland, Mother Adele Unie Padmore transitioned to eternal life.

Adele was preceded in death by her husband. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory five daughters, five son-in-laws, seventeen Grandchildren, twenty-one Great-Grandchildren, her sister, nieces and nephews, and a host of children and families who became a part of her family.
