Aaron, affectionately known as "Junior" was born on September 4, 1936 in Washington, DC and was the son of the late Aaron F., Sr. and the late Oneita Proctor.
Aaron was educated in the D.C. Public School System, and graduated from St. John's High School. He served in the U.S. Navy.
In 1972, Aaron's health began to fail, and he was placed in rehabilitation, where he remained until he passed away.
On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Fort Washington Rehabilitation Center in Fort Washington, MD, Aaron quietly departed this life for one eternal. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Makle, and brothers, Leroy and Pierce Proctor.
Left to cherish his memory, his loving brother, Harry Vincent Proctor; two sisters-in-law, Clara and Dorothy Proctor, one brother-in-law, Roland Makle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
His viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 11am until Service time 12 noon in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
